Calculators - Building and Contents

Home and Contents Insurance 

NQIB can offer Domestic Insurance policies that can give you peace of mind providing cover for a range of insured events to protect your home, contents and personal effects.

The cover provided by these policies can include:
  • Minimum $20 million legal liability cover
  • New for old replacement
  • Optional worldwide cover for loss or damage to valuables

Loss or damage caused by:
  • Storm, Cyclone and Low Pressure Systems including damage to external blinds, gates, fences and landscaping
  • Fire, explosion, earthquake
  • Lightning including power surge
  • Malicious acts, theft or attempted theft
  • Impact by a vehicle, falling trees or branches
  • Escaped liquid (eg. from washing machines, toilets or hot water systems)
  • Breakage of glass
  • Fusion of an electric motor
  • Flood

For clients wanting a broader level of protection we can provide cover for such things as accidental damage and contents away from home.

​Landlords Insurance

NQIB have access to a Landlords cover specifically underwritten and agreed for use by Queensland Brokers such as NQIB.  We can offer not only cover on the building and contents, including damage by tenants and liability for you as a property owner but also the following optional covers:
  • Loss of Rent as a result of damage by an insured event
  • Rent Default by tenants
  • Theft by tenants

Motor Vehicle Insurance
