Some quick tips that may assist you in the event of a claim:
Motor / Boat / Caravan
- Obtain other parties details (name, address, contact number, registration)
- Take photos of the damage to your vehicle and the other parties vehicle/s
- Do not admit liability to the other party
- Do not authorise your own repairs
Windscreen Claims
- Contact our Claims Team to arrange repairs
- If you have already arranged and paid for repair or replacement, forward your invoices to our office and we will submit to your insurer
Property - Commercial / Domestic / Rural
- Always take photos of any damange
- Arrange any necessary repairs to make your property safe and minimise any further loss
Water Damage
- Engage a carpet restorer to extract water
Theft / Malicious Damage
- Report incident to police
- Supply proof of ownership of stolen items (photos, receipts etc.)
Machinery Breakdown / Fusion
- Obtain a repair report and quote / invoice to repair / replace
Glass Breakage
- Arrange any necessary repairs to make your property safe
- Contact our office and we will make any necessary arrangements for repair / replacement of the glass
- If you have arranged and paid for repair or replacement, forward your invoices to our office and we will submit them to your insurer
Loss of Stock
- Take photos as proof of loss before discarding any damaged / spoiled stock
- Make a comprehensive list of all damaged / spoiled stock or food
- Provide a quote / invoice to replace the lost stock
Liability / Professional Indemnity
- Do not admit any liability and contact our Claims Team immediately
