 This November, North Queensland Insurance Brokers are taking part in #Stride4Stroke to raise vital funds and awareness for @strokefoundation. Being a Stroke survivor at any age is incredible, but a Stroke survivor at 22 years old was never something our own Jade Bolam thought would be a part of her story. “In October 2019, at the age of 22 I suffered a mild stroke which affected the right side of my brain causing paralysis to the left side of my body. I was extremely fortunate to have only spent 2 weeks in hospital, however, I did have to undertake a lot of therapy both physically and mentally. Now 3 years on, I am living a healthy and active lifestyle and am able to enjoy all the things I did before.
